The initiative to organize this event was conceived with the vision of promoting eye health and preventing visual impairments in our community.
Over 2.2 billion people globally live with a visual impairment and Curaçao is no exception.
With a special eye screening camera and with the cooperation of the school boards, parents and eye doctors, eye-related issues at an early stage can be addressed sooner ensuring timely treatment and enhancing the quality of life for those affected.
